Under general supervision, perform difficult to complex business and systems analyses of current business practices, processes and work flows in assigned business areas and recommend modifications or new processes to facilitate integration with designated enterprise system module processes; perform technical duties to support administration and production of assigned systems and databases; develop testing and implementation plans for new systems, system enhancements and upgrades; review projects following implementation to ensure compliance with specifications; collaborate with deans, administrators and staff on system and operational improvements and third-party system integrations and facilitate business improvements for a department; and perform related duties as assigned. As assigned to instructional services, the position will provide support for compliance activities related to state reporting and accreditation.
Office of Instruction Regular Position California Oceanside, Cardiff, and/or Carlsbad
One regular, full-time, overtime-exempt position, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year on the Oceanside Campus. The normal work schedule will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The person selected for this position will be subject to assignment to any district facility during any hours of operation.

Remote work is available up to 2 days per week during the probationary period, with supervisor approval. After successful completion of probation, and with continued supervisor approval, remote work may increase to up to 4 days per week.

The first-level interviews with the screening and interview committee will be conducted via Zoom. The second-level interviews may be conducted in person or via Zoom.

Telework is not guaranteed, and probationary or temporary employees require vice president approval. Full-time telework is not permitted; all employees are expected to maintain regular weekly on-campus presence.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT:
MiraCosta College Board Policy 7800: Employee Residency requires all classified staff, administrators, and temporary/hourly short-term employees to maintain and permanently reside in a principal place of residence in the state of California that is within two hundred (200) road miles from the employee’s regularly assigned district worksite.

The District may consider an individual’s request to temporarily reside outside the State of California or beyond the 200-mile limit on a case-by-case basis, provided it does not exceed 12 consecutive months.
